Students began the morning in art with Mrs. Kerr. After a snack and washroom break we did calendar and then continued our review of the letter I. We sang along to a different song and then tried to come up with as many letter I words as possible. Students then completed a letter I worksheet where they had to discern which picture began with that sound, then cut and pasted them in the correct boxes.

Then they had gym with Ms. Lovan.

After lunch we did our daily five: Read to self, Word Work (students put together short letter word puzzles) and then Work on Writing (journal: my favourite fruit).

Then we worked on a math sorting worksheet: numbers and letters. It was a good challenge for most of the students!

After second lunch and recess they had french with Mlle. Hou and then we did our Unit of Inquiry- We read a book "What I Do Best" and then students talked about the different things that they're good at. We also finished up a couple more All About Me presentations.

Great to see some of you at the barbeque!!
