Literacy Activity - students practiced writing their name with a pencil, crayon, marker, then a special pen. These were sent home in their agendas! We are working on recognition, form and order of letters in their name.

Language - Started new letter of the week - Ll. We talked about its sound, formation and words that begin with it. Then we watched a video. Following this students completed letter L page in their workbooks.

Daily Five - Read to self, Work on Writing (as a class we worked together on a beginning sounds worksheet then they completed it individually at their station), Word Work (students worked in pairs to put the alphabet in order)  Listen to Reading (as a class we listened to a story being read online)

Math- students had to cut and paste apples to the corresponding number basket

UOI - students coloured in a turkey and with help wrote 5 things they were thankful for
