Language - We started a new letter of the week - Bb. Students had to try and come up with as many words as possible that start with that letter and then we looked at the pictures on the big letter card. Then they sang along to the letter B song. After they completed the letter B page in their Writing With Phonics and if finished early used playdough on their mat to make the letter.
Gym - Ms. Lovan
Daily Five - Work on Writing (students traced the following sentence in their journal and then drew a picture about it - At the farm I........ ) Word Work (beginning sounds stamp sheet - students sounded out the picture and using stamps added the first beginning sound letter) Read to Self/Someone Else
Math - Students went around the table rolling a dice and whatever number it landed on they had to colour it in on their page.
French- Mlle. Jessica
UOI - We talked about the four seasons and what the trees look like in each as well as the weather and what we wear. I will be sending home the booklet they didn't finish along with a picture on tomorrow's blog about what the trees should look like on the front.
Reminders
1. As the weather has turned the playground into a mucky, muddy mess please try and bring a pair of rain boots for your child to wear outside as it eliminates even their outside shoes getting dirty.
2. Fundraiser events went home from the Parent Guild today in their agendas.
