Literacy Activity - Students had to write the lowercase letters to their matching uppercase ones. Then they had to sound out pictures and fill in the missing beginning sound on the line. They traced the number 14 and had to colour in 14 leaves.

Calendar

Language - We started a new letter of the week: Hh. Students watched a song to introduce it and then finished the letter H page in their Writing With Phonics workbook.

Gym - Ms. Lovan

Daily Five - Work on Writing (students had to trace then finish the following sentence: My favourite drink is ___________.), Word Work (students worked on beginning sound worksheets with dry erase markers), Read to Someone Else/Self

UOI - We started work on our Science Fair Project --> What drink stains our teeth? Students had to pick which drink they thought would colour their teeth and place their guesses on a chart. Then we performed the experiment. Afterwards we went back to the chart to see whose predictions were correct and started to put together our board. Tomorrow we'll finish it and practice the presentation.
