Calendar - before finishing our usual calendar routine, we took a trip down to the library to choose new books to read with our reading buddies in the afternoon.
Language - Students copied and finished the sentence from the board into their journals: My room is______. This term the focus in writing is line placement and understanding that we start a sentence with a capital letter and end with a period.
French - Mlle. Jessica
Daily Five - Reading Buddies
UOI - students listed what vehicles go under the 3 categories of air, land and water. Then they went back to their groups and finished gluing the pictures under the correct categories.
Math - students used snap cubes to measure different objects around the room. First they had to predict how many cubes tall it would take to measure and then afterwards count the actual amount it took.
