First Day Of School!!

Students began the morning with our calendar routine: first we sang a name song to introduce everyone then we read a story about a teachers first day at her new school. Then we talked about the months of the year, days of the week and weather. Students had turns coming up to our calendar and adding the correct tag.

After snack and washroom break students had fun in music with Ms. Hayward!

Language: students had to figure out the first letter of their name and attempt to write it on the line. Then they had to colour it and add stickers.

After lunch and recess the students had fun in gym with Ms. Jans. Then they had french with Mlle. Jessica.When we came back in from recess, students did a book trade. They each got to choose one book and then when the music came on they got to switch it with someone else on their table. 

To end our day students had the chance to play at some inquiry centres set up around the room.
