Language - to review the letters of the alphabet we have done so far each students was given a magnetic letter and had to put them on the whiteboard in order as fast as they could. Then we moved on to reviewing the name, sound & formation of the letter Jj. We used dot stickers to make the outline of upper and lower case Jj and then played alphabet bingo.
After students had some time for silent reading or reading with a partner.
Math - together as a class students coloured pictures in the categories of green, blue & purple. Then they cut & pasted them into the correct boxes.
Gym - Ms. J
French - Mlle. Jessica
Daily Five - students worked on writing (dry erase marker books & and their names) and word work (using clothespins to match uppercase letters)
