Language - students reviewed the sound, action, and formation of the letter Mm. We brainstormed words that began with that letter and then we practiced writing the upper and lower case letter. Then students could choose one of the words to draw a picture of.

Recess/Lunch 1
Math - to practice counting by 10's, each students was given a number from 10-100 and they had to get themselves in order without my help. They did a fantastic job and got faster every round. Tomorrow I am challenging them to do it in a minute. Then we moved on to counting by 5's. First we watched a song and sang along and then they coloured in numbers from 1-100 that either ended in a 5 or 0, which is what happens when they count by 5's. After they completed a worksheet and used their new laminated 100's chart to help them.
UOI - students watched a video on what parts of the plants we eat as they will need to know this for the written part of their summative project.
Recess/Lunch 2
Journal - I am thankful for................... Then students made a list on what they were thankful for and finished the sentence.
Then they had some time for centres.
