Language - reviewed the name, sound and formation of the letter Cc. Then we brainstormed words that began with C and they completed a page in their phonics journal.

Recess/Lunch 1
Math - students started a new unit: sorting and patterning. Students looked at a page in their Math Makes Sense workbook and talked about the different items they saw sorted around the classroom along with what was the same and different with ours. Then they had to choose one way to sort the school supplies on the following page.
UOI - students reviewed the process of wheat and the different products we get from it such as bread, pasta, cereal, etc.

Then it was time to pack up and head home!
