Calendar - days of the week, months of the year, season, weather, question of the day and story

Language - today we talked about the name, sound, and formation of upper and lower case Ll. Then we brainstormed a list of words that began with it and they watched a song. Finally they completed a page in their phonics journal and glued pictures onto a ladybug with words that started with the 'l' sound.

Gym - Ms. Yustin

Recess/Lunch 1

French - Mlle. Jessica

Math- First we reviewed what tally marks were and then students came up to the board to write down the number that matched them. After, students walked around the classroom asking 10 friends if Christmas was their favourite holiday. Then they had to make tally marks based on their results and write down the total number. Finally they graphed their findings.

 UOI - students watched the story 'Papa, Please Get Me The Moon', and then they made a craft where they had to write down who they would get a moon for and why.

Recess/Lunch 2

Journal - Students made a list of the 4 phases of the moon and drew a small picture beside each one.

Then they had time for centres at the end of the day.
