Calendar - days of the week, months of the year, season, weather, question of the day & story
Language - students reviewed the name, sound and formation of the letter 'v'. Then we brainstormed words that began with that letter and they completed a page in their phonics journal.

Math - students started a new unit in math: addition. First we reviewed what the '+' and '=' signs meant. Then 2 students took a turn rolling dice and whatever number it landed on we put on the board to solve the equation. After they read out the equation: 2+2 = 4. Then they were paired up with a classmate and they had to use bingo daubers to solve addition questions.
UOI - today we talked about the planet Mars! Students made their craft and we added it to our window:)
Journal - students watched the story of the Gingerbread Man and then put the story in order.
Then students worked on the Christmas concert.
