Calendar - days of the week, months of the year, season, weather & a story

Language - students learned the sound and formation of the blend 'ng' and then we brainstormed words on the whiteboard. Then they went back to their desks and completed a page in their phonics journal. If they finished early they got to work on a sheet where they had to write the correct word from the word bank under the picture and then find it in the wordsearch.

Gym - Ms. Yustin

Recess/Lunch 1

French - Mlle. Jessica

Math - First we reviewed numbers 1-20 by playing a 'I have, who has' game. Then students rotated subtraction stations: 1) they had to use clothespins to correctly answer the subtraction problem and then record the entire equation on a worksheet and 2) students used dry erase markers to answer laminated cards.

                                  

UOI - students made a melting snowman craft by using their hands and swirling around shaving cream and glue. Then they glued a sentence at the bottom of their construction paper: My snowman melted because ______________________. 

Recess/Lunch 2

Journal - students practiced their poems.

Then it was time to pack up and head home.
