Reading Buddies - students had the choice to either read or dance with their reading buddies today
Language- students learned the blend sound 'ow'. They learned it can make 2 different sounds (long o sound or 'ow' like cow. Then they completed a page in their phonics journal.

French - Mlle. Jessica
Math - students continued learning about place value. We played a game where 2 people took turns rolling a dice and the first number that they rolled went in the 10's column and the second number went in the ones. Then we drew groups of 10's based on the number and individual squares to represent the 1's. After we expanded them to make an equation sentence.
UOI - students learned about the community helper paramedic. We talked about their role and then we made a small booklet that they could take home with them.
Recess/Lunch 2
Journal - students completed a worksheet where they had to cut and paste the difference between the 2 sounds that the blend 'ow' makes.
Then it was time to pack up and head home!
