Reading Buddies
Language - students reviewed the blend sound 'er'. They came up with 31 words today!! Then they had to complete a worksheet where they had to figure out which words were real and which ones were nonsense.
Gym - Ms. Yustin
Recess/Lunch 1
Math- students reviewed pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters and the loonie today. They worked in groups to come up with the amount I wrote on the board.
Then they completed a worksheet where they had to add up rows of different coins.
UOI - We continued learning about the community helper chef. First we talked about what a recipe is used for and then we wrote down the ingredients as well as the steps needed in order to make rice krispie squares. Unfortunately we were unable to use the kitchen to make real ones so we pretended to make them and then they enjoyed store bought ones:)
Recess/Lunch 2
Journal - students practiced for the spelling bee and then it was time to pack up
Before we went home students had fun watching Ms. Gandy get pied in the face!!!!!
