Language - students reviewed the blend sound 'ew' and then played bingo with ew words. Finally they completed an 'ew' worksheet and if they finished early before gym they played hangman.

Math - students first each received an object from around the room and they had to work together as a group to put them in order from smallest to biggest and then biggest to smallest. Then we watched a video called Sid the Kid measurement where they reviewed the rules of measuring. Finally we copied an activity from the video where they had to measure the room using their bodies and making sure not to leave any spaces. They had so much fun!!
UOI - students had fun making their mothers day gifts!
Recess/Lunch 2
Journal - students walked around the room and had to write down 'ew', 'eu', and 'ie words in the correct spaces. Then we watched a short story and they had to complete the following sentence starters: first, then, next, last.
