PE with Ms. V
1.     Watch this YouTube Video about the Importance of Exercise: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NbEeaBULvys
2.     Watch this video about Staying Healthy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UxnEuj1c0sw

Ms. V’s Teacher Talk: Even though we are being asked to stay at home, it is very important that we continue to exercise and keep our bodies moving throughout the day. When we move our bodies, our heart becomes stronger and so do all the other muscles in our bodies. This keep our bodies healthy and prevents us from getting sick!

3.     Follow along with this exercise video! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T8jI4RnHHf0

Ms. V’s Feedback: Great job today! How do you feel after working out? Can you feel your heart muscles working? Is your body warmer then it was before? Make sure you drink lots of water today and continue to be active throughout the rest of your day! J

French - Mlle. Jessica

Bonjour! I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy!
To start off our first French online lesson, we are going to write about our March break.
On a blank sheet of paper, students will write ONE sentence about what they did over the March break and then draw a picture.  They may use a French-English dictionary to guide them: www.wordreference.com
Please do not use Google Translate.
You can use the following sentence starters to help complete your sentence.
Qu’est-ce que tu as fait pendant les semaines de relâche? What did you do over the March break?
Je suis allé(e)… (I went to…)
J’ai mangé… (I ate…)
J’ai regardé… (I watched…)
J’ai joué…. ( I played…)
J’ai fait… (I did/made…)
J’ai lu…. ( I read….)
J’ai vu…. (I saw…)

Please ensure the following in your writing activity:
  • includes a title (“Mes semaines de relâche”) and name on your work.
  • words are spelled correctly (including proper accents: é, ê, è)
  • your sentence begins with a capital letter and ends in a period.
  • your work is neat

Music

Welcome to music class with Mrs. McMillan!  I hope you had a wonderful March break!  Later in the week I will be posting a video of me singing and clapping rhythms so that you can sing along with me at home.  It will be fun! Today for music class I would love for you to make your own musical instrument to have at home for music class to play while you sing.  Here are some examples of instruments you can make.  A shaker out of a paper towel roll, a guitar out of a cereal box, or a drum using a tin can and spoon.  Be creative and have fun!  When you are finished making your musical instrument please sing a song of your choice such as "I am a Fine Musician".
Enjoy making musical instruments!  Feel free to send me a picture of you playing your instrument at amcmillan@stjudesacademy.com
Mrs. McMillan:)

Have a wonderful day with these lessons and activities and I will see you tomorrow!!! 😃
Ms. Bannon
