Students had a fun morning in art with Mrs. Kerr. After washroom and a snack break we did our calendar and then sang along to our letter U song. Then we reviewed some words that begin with that letter and students had to cut out the 3 pictures on their worksheet that started with the letter U.

Daily Five - Read to Self, Work on Writing (drawing a picture of their family), Word Work (figuring out which lower case letter matched with what upper case one)

Math - Introduced students to the concept of graphing. Each students brought their backpack into the classroom and we graphed the colours. Then we talked about what the information on the graph represented and how we could interpret it.

UOI - students began their clay portraits.

Just a reminder that all after care and lunch forms are due tomorrow.
