Language - Students reviewed the name, sound and formation of the letter M. We sang along to the letter m song and the students completed a page in their ABC journals. Then they traced M is for marbles and used bingo daubers to outline upper/lower case Mm.
Gym - Ms. Lovan
Daily Five- Word Work (students used alphabet clip cards- matching the lower case letters to the upper case ones on the cards), Work on Writing (students completed the first page of their 'an' family booklet- starting to sound out 3 letter words), Read to Self/Someone Else
Math - We started a new unit: geometry & spatial sense. I drew the 8 basic shapes on the whiteboard and students had to identify them. Then they completed a worksheet in which they had to colour the triangles red, circle green, and squares blue.
French - Mlle. Jessica
UOI - We also started a new unit: Little Artists. We talked about emotions and which kind of ones people feel. Then we sang along to If You're Happy and You Know It then students played a game where they had to match 6 different emotional faces to their partners.
