Language - students continued work with the letter S by completing the following sentence in their ABC journal: S is for________. They copied the word summer from the board. Then they used their bingo daubers to locate upper/lower case S.
Gym- Mr. Slyk
Daily Five - Word Work (students used beginning sound mats from yesterday), Work on Writing (students had to find magnetic letters to match the 3 letter words on their cvc cards, then copy them onto their recording sheet). Read to Self (students looked at animal books)
Math - Students used mini cubes to complete pattern strips.
Centres
French - Mlle. Jessica
UOI - we reviewed what we learned yesterday about mammals and then talked about the kangaroo today. Students watched a short video then we all took turns jumping to see how far we could go, just like the kangaroo! The tape on the carpet is the measurement of how far each student jumped.
