Gym - Mr. Slyk

Calendar

Language - Started new letter of the week: F. Students looked at the big picture card and with our magic fingers drew an upper and lower case Ff. Then we watched a video and completed 2 pages in our Writing With Phonics book.

French - Mlle. Jessica

Daily Five- Students listened to a story being read online and then went to their stations.
Word Work - students sounded out the pictures and using dry erase markers, filled in the appropriate letters
Work on Writing - Students practiced some tracing
Read to self/someone else

Math - We reviewed patterns and talked about AB & AAB ones. I challenged them to try the second one as it's a bit more challenging. They used bingo daubers to complete this activity.

UOI - We started our topic on insects this week. Students looked at a picture drawn by Ms. Ruby and we went over the characteristics that make up an insect. Then they had to cut and paste pictures onto the correct leaves. (insect vs. non-insect).

Then they finished off with centres.
