Calendar
Language - Students reviewed the name, sound and formation of the letter Ff. Then they completed their ABC journal page, F is for family. If students were finished early, they had time to read.
French - Mlle. Jessica
Daily Five - Word Work (as a class students played an online game where they had to sound 3 letter words in order to get the school bus across the bridge). Work on Writing (students had to again sound out the picture, copy the 3 letter words, and then colour in the matching picture).
Math - Students talked about groundhog day and made predictions as to whether or not the groundhog saw his shadow. Then we talked about the graph.
UOI - Students made caterpillars with office stickers.
Music - Mrs. Kerr
All the students stood in front of the class today and said their poems!! I was so proud of all of them. A couple were memorized and the rest they repeated after me. We will continue doing a rough run through of all of them this week and by the end of next, they should have them all memorized with actions. Please keep working on them at home.
