Calendar - days of the week, months of the year, season, weather & a story

Before starting language students first practiced their arts night song and then completed their earth day language piece from Friday.

Language - students learned the sound of short vowel 'o'. Then we listened to a song and listed words that have that middle sound. After we completed 2 pages in their Writing With Phonics workbook and read 5 sentences together as a class and glued the correct picture beside them.

Math- students extended their math activity from Friday by finding classmates in their class that had shorter, longer, same length as, shortest and longest name in the class. 

Gym - cancelled today as Ms. Yustin was sick but students had fun enjoying some extra sunshine outside and eating their popcorn!

French - Mlle. Jessica

UOI - students are learning about the rules of the road this week and why it is important to follow them. We talked about traffic lights and what each colour meant. Then they made one of their own.
