Math - measurement (capacity)
We discussed the term capacity and then students watched a power point presentation that showed different pictures of what containers they would use to fill certain objects. Then students guessed how many snap cubes it would take to fill a pink container we had in the classroom. They wrote their guesses down on a sticky note and put it on a large piece of chart paper. Then we counted together as a class how many snap cubes it actually took.

Students ended the day with some inquiry centres.
