Language - we started the short vowel sound 'e'. Students listened to a song and sounded out 3 letter words then chose 8 of them to write on the whiteboard. Then they copied these into their journals, chose one of the words to draw a picture of and then formed 2 of them using play-dough.
Math - students had to count how many squares high each object was and then record their answers in the box. Then we took it up together as a class and if they got it right they could place a check mark beside it.
Gym - Ms. Yustin

UOI - students enjoyed the afternoon with their reading buddies!!
