Language - students worked on the letter r: sound, formation and action song. Then they completed a page in their phonics journal and made a spider with 6 legs that had a word that began with r on each leg.
Then they decorated brown paper bags to put in treats brought in from some of their classmates.
Gym - Ms. Yustin
Recess/Lunch 1
Math - students did some review with numbers and then they all played a roll the word game where they each took turns rolling the big foam dice and then writing that word down in the square. They kept going until one word had been written down 3 times.
UOI - today we talked about the sense of touch and students put their hands in 4 different bags and had to describe what they felt. Then they watched a video.
Finally we ended the day with a fun house game and students/teachers were judged on best costume.
