Wonderful Wednesday

Calendar - days of the week, months of the year, season, weather, question of the day & story. Then we talked about what we all did on our Christmas break.

Lamguage - students reviewed the sound and formation of double 'zz'. Then if they finished writing in their phonics journal earlier, they used playdough and formed the words that we brainstormed on the whiteboard.

Gym - Ms. Yustin

Recess/Lunch 1

Math - students completed a subtraction preassessment

UOI - students reviewed the planets in order from the sun and then completed a wordsearch

Recess/Lunch 2

Journal - students completed the last 2 pages in their Christmas from around the world book. First we talked about how Christmas is celebrated in China and then they had to choose one country they would want to visit and why.

Then it was time to pack up and head home!!
