Calendar - days of the week, months of the year, season, weather, question of the day and a story

Phonics - students learned the blend sound 'ure'. Then they came up with as many words as they knew on their own and they each wrote them down on a whiteboard. Then we watched a video and they added anymore we saw. After they went back to their desks and completed a page in their phonics journal.

Gym - Ms. Yustin

Recess/Lunch 1

French - Mlle. Jessica

Math - students reviewed how much a dime is worth and practiced counting aloud by 10's as a class. Then they completed a worksheet. They were reminded to add the cent sign after each number.

UOI - today we learned about the community helper veterinarian! Students watched a video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iQ6mc1NCylo) about one and then they completed a sheet where they had to write about what they have, can, and are, along with a sentence about what they do. Finally they took turns pretending to be a veterinarian and had to use tools to help fix them and do a check up. 

Recess/Lunch 2

Journal - Students completed the following sentence in their journals: In my garden, I would plant______________. They are encouraged to be adding more detail to their sentences (eg. pink flowers, instead of just flowers). 

Music - Ms. McMillan

Then they watched a story online by Ms. Booksy and it was time to pack up and head home!
