Fantastic Friday

Just a reminder that casual day forms are due by Friday, October 25. Please submit the form indicating if your child(ren) will or will not be participating.  Please note that Casual Day was not included in registration this year, so if you would like your child(ren) to participate, please submit the form and $20 cash payment.

Language - show & share (letters c & k)

Math - students completed a pre-assessment for our new unit: patterning. Then we talked about what a pattern does: it repeats. Finally we had students complete the pattern that I started and they had to figure out what came next. Today we focused on the simple one: AB. They had lots of fun!

This pattern was facing front, facing back, facing front, facing back

 Then they had to get themselves into a boy, girl, boy, girl pattern

Journal - Today students reviewed how to make a list and the 3 components necessary for it: title, bullet points, and pictures.

Then it was time to pack up and head home!
