Language - students worked on the blend sound 'igh'. If they finished their exercise journals earlier they completed a wordsearch.
Math - today we started a new unit: time! First we looked at a big analog clock to talk about what we saw on it and how it helps us tell time using the 2 hands which stand for the hour and the minute. Then we completed a couple of exercises to see the difference between a second, minute and hour. They were surprised how long an hour is!! Then we walked around the school and counted how many analog clocks we saw in total.
