HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!!
Calendar - days of the week, months of the year, season, weather, counting to the 100th day of school and a story
Art - students used red and white paint to start with one colour (red) and then slowly adding white until the colour gets lighter. They painted over a heart that was taped to the middle of a canvas and once it dried we took it off and they had a heart in the middle.
Math - students made a necklace with 100 fruit loops. First they used a hundreds chart to make sure they had 100 of them, then they strung them all on a piece of yarn.

Then students had the opportunity to choose from 3 different valentine worksheets to finish the day off. They could work with partners or groups and anywhere they wanted to in the classroom.
Then it was time to pack up and head home!
