Thrilling Thursday

Calendar - days of the week, months of the year, season, weather, counting to the 100th day of school and a story

Language - students learned the difference between the 2 different sounds that 'ow' makes. Then we came up with words for that second sound.

If students finished their worksheet early they coloured in a pink shirt for anti-bullying day that we had yesterday and taped it to the door.

Math - students completed a time maze challenge where they had to figure out the time on the clock and then work their way through to the finish line. They all did a great job!

After french, students reviewed the poem that we worked on yesterday highlighting the sight words and then today we put it in order as a class and then they went back to their desks to do the same.

Recess/Lunch

UOI - today we learned all about firefighters!! Then students went back to their desks and made their own firefighter hats. Then we had a parent come in who is a doctor that works with babies at the hospital and told them all about her job and responsibilities. Then they each got to take a bandaid home.

Then it was time to pack up and head home!!
