Language - students will review the sound and song for the blend sounds AIR and URE

1. Students will apply the sounds that they learned to their "real" life items that they find in their environment (around the house, in a book, on TV, etc.)

3. Review blend sounds:
Students can write a simple sentence about what they found in their journals ((“I found the stairs.  Stairs is an AIR word.”)

UOI - today students will learn about the community helper lifeguard!

1. Students will brainstorm ideas on how they think lifeguards help out in the community (you can draw pictures, write a couple of sentences starting with "I think they _____________." or if someone is available to videotape your ideas)
